A 41-year-old man has been killed after he was hit by a car in County Tipperary.
It happened in Ballylooby last night.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of the a fatal road traffic collision at Burgess West, Ballylooby, Co. Tipperary, at around 25 past 11 last night.
A 41 year old man who was a pedestrian, was a killed in the collision with a car.
His body's been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place.
The driver - a 26 year old man - was uninjured.
The road remains closed for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí in Cahir are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
