Nine children are among 19 people who have died in a fire in a high-rise apartment block in the Bronx area of New York.
More than 60 people have been injured - with around half that number in hospital where 13 are in a critical condition.
The city's fire commissioner, Dan Nigro says it's one of the worst blazes in recent memory.
"There was very heavy smoke, very heavy fire.
"Units pushed in, this smoke extended the entire height of the building - completely unusual.
"Members found victims on every floor, in stairwells."
