The fire broke out in the home yesterday
The bodies of the man and woman - aged in their late 60s and early 70s - were found at Beach Park, Portmarnock last night.
Dublin Fire Brigade were alerted to the blaze at around half ten - they brought it under control and discovered the couple inside the house.
Post mortem exams are due to be carried out, while a garda investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
