Minister McEntee says she has been briefed by the Garda Commissioner and it is her understanding that Gardaí are following a definite line of inquiry and are not looking for any other person at this time.
Her statement concludes that the attack has shocked everyone, and she adds that she has no doubt that the person responsible will be brought to justice.
