People who are hosting refugees in their home can now apply for the €400 a month 'Accommodation Recognition Payment'.
The government announced the payment details in May, and it can be back-dated to March.
It's linked to a six-month commitment to host people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.
The first payment will be issued on the 9th of August, including any arrears due.
