All rugby and football matches in the Aviva Stadium are now subject to ticket-touting legislation.
Since midnight, it's been illegal to re-sell tickets for above face-value.
It emerged yesterday the upcoming Ireland v Portugal match wasn't covered by the legislation - and tickets were being offered online at inflated prices.
Sinn Féin's enterprise spokesperson, Louise O'Reilly, says it's positive the Aviva is now a designated venue under the new laws.
