Amnesty International Ireland is holding Picnics Against Apartheid around the country this summer, in solidarity with Palestinians who are oppressed by Israeli authorities.
A picnic is being held this evening at St Andrew's Community Centre in Rialto, Dublin, where there'll be music, dancing and Middle Eastern food.
Amnesty says massive seizures of Palestinian land and property, unlawful killings, and the denial of nationality and citizenship amounts to apartheid under international law.
Deirdre Walsh, Activism Co-ordinator with Amnesty, says Ireland must step up and call out these crimes.
