Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski died after the vehicle he was in was hit with incoming fire in Horenka, a village just outside of Kyiv.
In a statement Fox News described Pierre as a "passionate journalist" whose talents were unmatched.
Foreign Correspondent with the LA Times, Marcus Yam, became close with Pierre when the pair covered the conflict in Afghanistan:
"He was very fearless, he was very brave, you know, nothing really fazes him. He was a family man, he spoke about, his family, and how it tended him. And, you know, he was just one of good ones"
