Authorities in Baltimore have been granted emergency aid after the tragic bridge collapse this week.
Four men are still missing and presumed dead after the metal structure plunged into the river below after being hit by a cargo ship.
The US President has approved 60 million dollars to help with the cleanup from the disaster.
Maryland's Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld says the money is crucial
"These dollars are essential for us to proceed quickly and safely with the debris removal, the demolition, traffic operations and other emergency needs. We're very grateful obviously for the quick response. As you heard our federal partners are focused on clearing the channel as the number one priority"
