"Young LGBTI+ people still find it tough to come out, even in a post-marriage equality referendum Ireland."
That's according to Moninne Griffith, CEO of BeLonG to Youth Services who launched a video campaign for Coming Out Day 2021 today where members of the LGBTI+ community share their stories of coming out.
Moninne says even with great advantages like marriage equality and gender recognition, many members of the community still worry about rejection, negative reactions and bullying from family and peers.
