Brooke Scullion will represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest.
She won last night's EuroSong final on The Late Late Show with the song 'That's Rich'.
Six acts battled it out but Brooke emerged victorious to perform at the contest's semi-final in Turin in May.
Ireland has failed to qualify for five of the last six Eurovision finals.
Editor of EurovisonIreland.net, John Stanton says Ireland is still respected in the competition, despite our recent track record:
"There's a lot of respect for the history. I mean the contest moved on a lot since the 1990s. First of all, the free language rule, which did give the English speaking nations a bit of an advantage. But a good song is a good song and will cut through all of that anyway."
