Business leaders are being encouraged to challenge bias towards women and minority groups.
'Break the bias' is the theme of this year's International Women's Day.
The movement is working to foster greater equality for women by addressing bias, stereotypes, and discrimination across society.
Sonya Lennon, Entrepreneur and Founder of WorkEqual, says awareness is key to reducing bias in the workplace.
"Tackling and addressing and becoming aware of bias is all about realising that your perspective is not the only one and I think sometimes as humans, we need reminding of that because people come at things from a different context from a different life experience.
"Key point I suppose is to is to become aware of our biases and to not see them as a failing because we all have them, but rather look at sort of a multiplicity of ways of looking at things."
