For the first time ever, the Criminal Assets Bureau has seized an asset linked to Daniel Kinahan.
CAB convinced the High Court that a mansion in Dublin, previously owned by the Mansfield family, was acquired by the proceeds of crime.
Despite several attempts to serve papers on him, Daniel Kinahan didn't engage with the process and didn't contest the application in court today.
The judge was told Mr. Kinahan is suspected of being in a "leadership role" in the international criminal gang, known as the Kinahan Organised Crime Group.
