There's a call on the government to scrap inpatient charges for all patients.
It comes as the Irish Cancer Society urge the coalition to take action to reduce the costs for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
Co-Leader of the Social Democrats, Roisin Shortall, says inpatient charges need to go:
"It's desperately unfair. It's wrong. And we called on the government to change, to abolish those charges. The government opposed that. They said that their advice was that you shouldn't, that you couldn't abolish charges for one group of patients. So what we're saying now is that the inpatient charge should be abolished for all patients".
