A member of the Oireachtas finance committee is calling for a review into the National Lottery draw.
Fine Gael TD, Bernard Durkan, says an investigation's needed, as the jackpot hasn't been won on the past 46 occasions.
It was last won on June 6th, which is over five months ago.
Deputy Durkan wants the Public Expenditure Minister to take action:
"There needs to be an assurance that public confidence in the National Lottery is not, in any way, impaired. If that were to happen, irreparable damage could be done, and I think we need to get in front of that, in time, on time. I have written to the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Michael McGrath, to carry to out a review to ensure that the procedures are in accord with what they should be."
