There's a call for a National Ukrainian Response Taskforce to be set up at local and national levels.
Groups including the Irish Refugee Council and Doras are making the call, so there can be better coordination to help people fleeing Ukraine.
They've also told the Taoiseach Micheál Martin they want a National Director appointed to lead the national response.
Doras CEO, John Lannon says a taskforce would play an important role:
"The task force should be chaired by the National Director and here's where the huge change and the huge focus is required because we need continuity. We need communication between what's happening at local level and what's happening at the national level. And this is what needs to be coordinated now".
