Cannabis worth 139-thousand euro has been seized at Dublin Airport.
Revenue officers examining parcels at a warehouse facility seized over 6-point-9 kilos of herbal cannabis on Wednesday.
The drugs were found in air cargo consignments described as 'car seat covers' which had arrived into Ireland from the US and were destined for addresses in Dublin and Kildare.
Separately, 15-thousand euro in cash was seized at the airport on Tuesday when officers searched a passenger prior to boarding a flight to Spain.
The cash is believed to be the proceeds of, or intended for use in, criminal activity.
