The people of Cherry Orchard are 'terrorised and in tears' over an incident in which a Garda car was rammed yesterday.
That's according to a local Sinn Féin Councillor, who says the community has been calling for a strong response to joy riders for months.
Videos widely shared online show a crowd watching two cars driving erratically last night, when one of the two rammed into a Garda car which was trying to stop the behaviour.
Chair of the local Joint Policing Committee, Councillor Daithi Doolan, says the community is traumatised by a minority.
