An Irish-owned car rental site is seeing business boom this summer due to spiralling costs.
Fleet is likened to Airbnb, where users rent cars that aren't being used in driveways or at garages.
It was set up in 2016 when founder, Maurice Sheehy, was on holiday and wanted to use an idle car at a property he was renting.
Fleet Chief Commercial Officer, Kevin Loughnane, says tourists are being priced out of the big car rental companies:
"Luckily for us, they've turned towards the Fleet platform to find good value for money, and they are getting it there. We've run some comparisons and for the prices that are being charged by the traditional rental companies, particularly in and around the airport, they can find alternatives on Fleet for 5, 6, or 7 times cheaper."
