The chief executive of Eirgrid says Ireland should not be struggling to cope with its current energy supply.
The Environment Minister, Eirgrid and the Commission for the Regulation of Utilities, are meeting currently to address growing concerns over electricity supplies.
They're appearing before an Oireachtas committee.
