The Citizens' Assemblies on Biodiversity Loss and a Directly Elected Mayor for Dublin will formally start their work today.
The Taoiseach Micheál Martin will provide a video message to both inaugural introductory events at Dublin Castle just after 2pm.
The meeting will be held virtually, with the 99 members of the Biodiversity Loss Assembly and 79 members of the Dublin Assembly joining online.
The discussions will get underway on Biodiversity Loss on the 14th of May and the Directly Elected Mayor for Dublin talks will be on the 30th of April.
