Concerns are being raised over the vulnerable - as temperatures climb.
People are being urged to check on neighbours - particularly the elderly or people with young children.
Father Peter McVerry, from the McVerry Trust also says rough sleepers are particularly at risk:
"I think a lot of homeless people wouldn't even know that we have a very hot spell coming. They don't listen to the news. They don't go on to mainstream media. So they may not even be aware of the dangers that the next few days will hold. Even if they do, they're not used to sunscreens, they won't be even thinking of sunscreens and even if they were, they wouldn't have the money for them".
