Concert promoter MCD lost out on around 20 million euro last year due to ticket refunds.
The Irish Independent reports 300,000 tickets were handed back to the company because of restrictions on gatherings.
Those were for cancelled gigs that couldn't be rescheduled for a variety of reasons.
However the company hopes to bounce back this year with Electric Picnic among the star studded events on its calendar.
