The cost of building materials for commercial property has gone up.
The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland says commercial construction tender prices increased by 7.5% in the first half of this year.
That's a higher increase than that seen during the Celtic Tiger era.
SCSI spokesperson Kevin Brady says the pandemic has contributed to the increase in prices.
