Darragh O'Brien's been branded as "the worst housing minister we've had in decades".
There were tense exchanges in the Dáil last night as Sinn Féin submitted a motion calling for a housing crisis to be declared.
The party's housing spokesperson Eoin Ó Broin told the minister he's "out of time" after having two and half years to address spiralling prices.
Minister O'Brien said he's confident the Government will hit its target of building 300,000 new homes by 2030.
