Plans for a credit for household electricity bills appear to have hit a delay.
The Government credit of €100 was to be allocated to 2,100,000 domestic energy bills this January in order to offset spiralling prices.
However the Irish Examiner is reporting that the legal mechanism needed to apply the credit won't now be ready until March.
