Despite 20 degrees being reported in some parts of the country already this morning, temperatures are set to take a dip this weekend.
Parts of Munster and Leinster are experiencing sunny spells, but rain will spread nationwide by this afternoon.
Met Éireann Forecaster Joanna Donnelly says cooler weather is on the way:
"The height of the sun in the sky directly affects the direct radiation and that means it's gonna feel warm if you get some sunshine, but the air temperatures, that's a different matter. It's cooler. Yeah. So tomorrow Saturday, only about 13 to 16 degrees and there's going to be a moderate wind with that, a northerly wind. Sunday's going to be a bit better though. We've got a slight rise on Sunday. They're inching up on Sunday".
