Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather, says while there may not be snow on Christmas Day - rain is also unlikely
"But certainly, at present, it's looking like it's not going to be white Christmas. It's going to be a mild Christmas. But the good news is that it does look like high pressure will be close to Ireland, and that means that there's not too much concern around rain or wind. But, yes certainly looking like a milder than usual, Christmas Day at present"
