Despite some hotels in Dublin charging high prices, there's still availability for the All Ireland weekend.
That's according to the general manager of one hotel in Dublin city, who says more rooms are vacant than expected.
Around 88 rooms for two are currently available in the capital this Saturday and Sunday night, ranging in price from €272 to nearly €3,700 for the two nights.
Paul Gallagher, the general manager of Buswells, says hotels choosing to charge big prices are reducing demand:
"There is availability this weekend, the hotel is full for Saturday night but I'd have a few rooms left on Sunday night. Hotels that offer consistently good value for money will do well all the time. Hotels that kind of step out of that and charge very, very high rates may have put their market off and customers will look elsewhere. Generally, price can be used to turn down demand and maybe that has happened."
