A Dutchman is in police custody following a shooting in Marbella in Spain this morning, in which an Irishman was seriously injured.
In total, five people have been injured after a man opened fire in a beach club on the Costa Del Sol.
It was around 1am at Opium Beach Club in Marbella along the Costa Del Sol this morning.
As the music played out from a DJ set - a gunman opened fire, and footage online shows club goers diving for cover.
Five people were left injured and four are believed to have suffered gunshot wounds, including an Irishman.
He was rushed to hospital and is believed to be the most seriously injured from the shooting, having been shot in the chest.
Police have arrested a Dutch national who was brought into custody with stab wounds to his neck and head.
The shooting is believed to have been motivated by an argument between two groups at the club.
