Anyone hoping to buy Ed Sheeran tickets as a gift for someone, is being advised they'll have to attend the gig to get them into the venue.
Ed's bringing his Mathematics tour to Ireland in April next year as he plays Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh on April 28th with tickets going on sale tomorrow morning at 8am.
However strict rules will be in place in a bid to stop touts from buying tickets to sell on for above face value.
Tech journalist Jess Kelly says Ticketmaster and Ed Sheeran.com list different rules for purchase leading to confusion:
"TicketMaster says fans can buy up to six tickets. It also says the matching ID of the surname of the lead booker will be an entry requirement, and if you want to buy tickets as gifts, you'll need to attend. EdSheeran.com however, says that tickets are limited to four. It also says that to gain access to the concert you are required to bring your original payment card, the email booking confirmation, and photo ID."
