The Education Minister says authorities will do 'all they can' to ensure the Leaving Cert results are ready in August.
With less than six weeks to go to the start of the state exams, there is still no date set for the results to be issued.
It's feared a lack of examiners, which led to last years results being delayed until September, may be repeated for the class of 2023.
However the Irish Times reports Minister Norma Foley told a conference of second-level school managers, she has informed the State Examinations Commission that she wants the Leaving Cert results issued in August.
