The European Parliament has voted in favour of a universal charger.
By 2024, all phones, cameras and devices must use a USB-C port.
This decision has been in the works for quite some time, and there has been a push for it in recent years.
The majority of Android phones already have this port and will not be impacted, however Apple will be forced to change from their lightning port.
