Extremely high temperatures that are on the way could cause heat stress for more vulnerable people.
A status yellow high temperatures warning has been issued for the country from tomorrow.
It could reach 32 degrees Celsius on Monday and may even break the record temperature of 33.3 degrees in Kilkenny over 120 years ago.
Cathal Nolan of Ireland's Weather Channel says the midlands could see the hottest weather:
"It certainly will apply to other parts of the country. Certainly on a nationwide basis, temperatures are expected to exceed the mid to high 20s range quite widely. There's one or two favoured locations probably a little bit more inland, favoured locations where we see the temperatures possibly pushing up and exceeding that 30 degree mark as forecasters".
