Farmers are warning that last year's protests were nothing compared to what is coming down the track.
The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association say that everyone should be entitled to earn a living throughout the pandemic, with the group saying the people they represent barely break even.
It says there is not enough urgency in helping the agri sector - particularly from the European Union.
President is Edmond Phelan - he says farmers will be forced to take action again.
"The farmers took to the factory gates, and the farmers didn't do that lightly.
"20 years since we saw something like that, and this was two or three times as bad.
"That was nothing compared to what you're going to see in a few months.
"It's absolutely ridiculous to expect people to work for nothing.
"I know we're in an extremely difficult situation that the country is actullay in, but everyone has to pull together and everybody has to make a living out of this."
