Finance Minister Pascal Donohue is on his feet in the Dail delivering Budget 2021
He began his Budget speech by outlining that the test we face due to Covid 19 is daunting and he acknowledged the anxiety that prevails about the future of lives and livelihood but he says we will build a stronger and more resilient Ireland and Budget 2021 is a bridge to that future
He says Ireland has never experienced a challenge like this however the country entered the year with a surplus
The Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe says last year's surplus has helped us this year.
