Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil's parliamentary parties will meet later to discuss options for government formation after lengthy talks yesterday.
Despite meeting for around six hours to discuss policy, Fine Gael says it still does not want to be part of the next government.
The Dáil will sit for a second time today with the coronavirus and the upcoming EU Council summit on the agenda for TDs.
However, a government is no closer - with acting Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe saying Fine Gael doesn't need to be involved:
