Five Aer Lingus flights from Dublin Airport have been cancelled today, due to a spike in Covid cases among staff.
They are three flights to London Heathrow, one to Hamburg and one to Berlin.
The airline was forced to cancel a number of flights yesterday, for the same reason.
Travel writer Eoghan Corry says there could be even more cancellations today.
"When we started off the day with a number of cancellations, two or three short term cancellations have arisen as well.
"Long term, getting 24 hour notice or overnight notice, it gives passengers the alert that they don't show up at the airport unless they're on an alternative flight.
"The real problem with the short term cancellation is that people are already at the airport, and been through the drama of security queues."
