Tens of thousands of Ryanair passengers have been forced to reschedule their flights today, after they were cancelled due to an air traffic controllers strike in France.
12 flights between French cities and Dublin have been cancelled by Aer Lingus, with the company advising passengers to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport.
In total, Ryanair's cancelled 420 international flights, affecting some 80,000 passengers.
Editor of Air and Travel Magazine, Eoghan Corry, says passengers can expect further disruption later in the month.
"More are scheduled, another one for the end of the month.
"We've seen quite a lot of French air traffic control strikes, there was another one earlier in the summer.
"They tend to strike when the flights are busy, it's no coincidence that it's a Friday in September. It's a very busy time of year that this strike is taking place."
