Focus Ireland says it supported a record number of households last year, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
The charity helped more than 1,800 households avoid homelessness or find a secure home in 2020.
Its annual report shows that 12,300 people were supported by Focus Ireland services last year.
Mike Allen, Director of Advocacy with Focus Ireland, says 2020 presented unique challenges.
"From March onwards we had the situation of working with very vulnerable people and not being able to meet them, not being able to be in contact with them.
"But there's been extraordinary achievements in terms of supporting people, and I think remarkably we managed to support more households, more families out of homelessness during 2020 than we ever achieved before."
