Rise TD Paul Murphy says he'll bring the motion because the government has opted to do nothing about Seamus Woulfe's involvement in GolfGate.

When it was fist considered earlier this month, constitutional lawyers warned forcing him out would set a low standard for removing a judge.

But Deputy Murphy says failing to act sets a low standard for accountability in public office.

"They always wanted it to go away they were forced to take action in terms of certain people, because of the public outrage and the pressure that they were under, but they've always wanted it to go away. And unfortunately, then they made clear that, you know, despite the fact that the Chief Justice was calling for him to go that the Government wouldn't be taking any further action, then signalling okay they're done with it. That's very poor that's that's a very poor precedence in terms of accountability."
