Funding has been approved for flood protection works at Baurnahulla in Drimoleague.
The Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works, Patrick O'Donovan, has approved over 22,600 euro for proposed works under the OPW's 'Minor Flood Mitigation Works and Coastal Protection Scheme'
This includes the installation of a banked back to earthen embankments.
