The funeral mass of Matthew Healy at St Mary's Church in Berrings has heard how the entire community of Berrings is saddened by his loss.
During the service sympathies were read from Bishop William Crean to the Healy Family as Matthew's family and friends along with Fr Pat McCarthy - the chaplain at the Mercy University Hospital - gathered for his requiem mass.
The 89 year old retired farmer died following an attack at the Mercy University Hospital last Sunday morning
His death comes less than a month after his wife passed away.
