A 43-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Co Kerry last week, will be buried today.
Thomas Dooley died after he was attacked at a funeral in Tralee.
His funeral mass is taking place in the Church of the Assumption in Tullamore, followed by burial in Clonminch cemetery.
Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae says it was a horrific incident.
"This event was something awful, and resulted in not just the horrific death of Thomas Dooley, but also very serious injuries inflicted on his wife.
"At time, all we want is for hime to have a respectful, quiet and holy funeral, and that his family and friends may have a peaceful time.
"We are so sorry for the extended family for the horrific events of last week."
