The Finance Minister meets with senior management later.

Paschal Donohoe will seek answers on its 'strategic review' after reports the bank could be wound down in the Republic.

The bank, which has seven branches in Cork is owned by NatWest in the UK and employs 2,400 staff in the Republic.

General Secretary with the Financial Services Union, John O'Connell, says Minister Donohoe needs to get answers from Ulster Bank:
