The Garda Commissioner's welcoming today's appointment of Michael McElgunn, Angela Willis, and Justin Kelly as Assistant Commissioners.
Drew Harris says Michael, Angela and Justin have extensive experience and knowledge from working across a range of areas in the gardai.
McElgunn will start the role of Assistant Commissioner of the North Western region from next Monday.
Willis will take up the position of Assistant Commissioner of the Dublin Metropolitan Region and Kelly will take-up the role of Assistant Commissioner, Organised and Serious Crime.
