Gardaí are investigating following the death of three people in a two car collision yesterday evening.
It happened shortly before 5pm in Kells in Meath.
Sarah-Jayne Tobin reports for RedFM News:
"Gardaí say the two vehicles collided head-on on the N52 ring road around Kells just off the M3 shortly before 5pm yesterday.
The road from the Cloverhill roundabout and R147 was closed after the incident but has since been reopened
The driver and passenger of one of the cars, both in their twenties were killed while a woman in the second car also died
It's understood three children were in one of the cars.
Gardaí are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses to contact them."
