A Garda investigation's underway following a suspected double murder suicide in Co Kerry.
It's after the body of a woman in her 60s and her son, who was in his 20s, were found inside a house near Lixnaw last night.
Both had been shot, while the body of the father, a man in his 60s, was later found in a field at the rear of the house near a shotgun.
The scene has been preserved pending the arrival of the State Pathologist and Garda Technical Bureau and Gardai say they're not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
Lixnaw parish priest, Fr. Anthony O'Sullivan, says he attended the scene late last night.
"I was called at 11.15 to the scene and I said the prayers.
"As of yet I haven't met anybody, I'll be meeting people at mass this morning, but there's a great sense of numbness, of unreality, of disbelief that this has happened."
