Gardai Are Urging People To Slow Down Ahead Of National Slow Down Day Tomorrow

9 people have died on Cork roads so far this year

17 pedestrians have been killed on Irish roads so far this year.

Since the start of the year 56 road deaths have been recorded, which marks a near 10 per cent increase on the same period last year.

9 people have died on Cork roads so far this year including a man in his 40's who died on  re-opening on Monday when his car was in collision with a lorry on the N22

Gardai are urging people to slow down ahead of National Slow Down day tomorrow.

Chief Superintendent Paul Cleary says although there is less traffic on the roads due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, some drivers are continuing to speed:
