Gardaí are investigating racist messages sent to former England and Arsenal footballer Ian Wright.
It comes after the retired striker announced earlier that he'd recently been subjected to racist abuse on social media.
Gardaí say a teenager has since presented to a Garda Station in connection with the incident and has been interviewed.
They say a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
